Mentoring / Supervision
As teachers we regularly hold space for others.
It is equally important that we have spaces where we feel seen and held ourselves.
Much can arise when we teach (both within ourselves and our students). Mentoring and supervision offer space for these experiences to be shared, explored and to feel supported on our journey.
As a Yoga Therapist and Mindfulness Teacher myself I regularly meet with my own supervisors. I find this essential in feeling supported and resourced within my teaching.
I see it as being a part of a circle of caring, we hold space for our clients, but also need space held for ourselves.
Supervision - Yoga Therapists and Mindfulness Teachers
As Mindfulness Teachers and Yoga Therapist we are often working with people in a therapeutic context and therefore supervision is strongly advised.
Sessions offer space to discuss the work you are undertaking with clients. This can involve exploring issues or challenges that arise, as well as shining a light on competencies and areas for development.
Mentoring - Yoga Teachers
While teaching yoga can be hugely rewarding, we often work in isolation. Whether we are just starting our teaching journey, or have been teaching for some years, having the support of a more experienced teacher can offer an invaluable touchstone for tending to both our teaching and own wellbeing.
Sessions offer the opportunity to explore issues and challenges that arise within the context of teaching, areas for professional development and support within our personal practice.

Sessions are held live online via Zoom (although in person sessions can be arranged depending on location and availability).
